Don't compromise

A very smart man once said to me "Don't Compromise".. This was just at the time that my partner and I were considering if we were mad enough to purchase a power boat. Needless to say we decided to seize the moment and live for today rather than wait for our retirement so we went ahead an ordered a beautiful new semisecret fortifying 47.

The experience of spending time with Sunseeker International in Poole has been amazing. Apart from the fact that we seem to be spending more on the boat than we did on our house it's been just great. When you order a new boat you get to choice everything, from the wood cabinetry to the carpets right down to the material used on the cushions. You also have the opportunity, if you wish, to see your new baby being created in the factory (pictures below).

So why spend so much on a boat? Well we see it as an investment in our sanity and our relationship. We both have very hectic jobs which include a certain amount of hard word and stress, we don't have children and we don't have much to keep us out of trouble at the weekend... So it seems obvious, buy a boat...

We've never owned or driven a boat before so I'll use this blog thingi to keep a log of our experiences
